PHP, IOP & Outpatient Groups
Structured levels of care designed to meet you where you are in your recovery journey.
Our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) provides the highest level of outpatient care available, designed for individuals who need intensive, structured treatment but do not require 24-hour inpatient supervision. PHP is ideal for those transitioning out of a hospital or residential setting, or for individuals whose symptoms — such as severe depression, anxiety, psychosis, or substance use — require daily clinical attention. Clients participate in a comprehensive, full-day treatment schedule that includes individual counseling, group therapy, psychiatric services, and skill-building activities. Our multidisciplinary team works collaboratively to stabilize symptoms, build coping strategies, and prepare each client for a successful transition to a lower level of care.
- 5 days per week, 3 hours 15 minutes per day of structured programming
- Individual and group therapy sessions daily
- Psychiatric evaluation and medication management
- Crisis stabilization and safety planning
- Coordination with inpatient facilities for step-down care
- Dual diagnosis treatment for co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders
- Family education and involvement in the treatment process
- Discharge planning and transition to IOP or outpatient care
Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) offers a structured therapeutic environment for individuals stepping down from PHP, completing inpatient treatment, or those who need more clinical support than traditional weekly outpatient therapy can provide. IOP is well-suited for people managing substance use disorders, mood disorders, trauma, and co-occurring conditions who are stable enough to live at home but still require consistent, focused treatment. The program uses evidence-based approaches — including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing — delivered through a combination of group and individual therapy sessions. Flexible scheduling options allow clients to maintain their work, school, or family responsibilities while receiving the care they need.
- 5 days per week, 2 hours 15 minutes per day of group and individual therapy
- Evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing
- Substance use disorder treatment and relapse prevention
- Coping skills development for anxiety, depression, and trauma
- Peer support and group process to build accountability
- Flexible morning and evening scheduling to accommodate work or school
- Ongoing psychiatric medication management as needed
- Transition planning to standard outpatient or aftercare services
Our Outpatient (OP) Group therapy provides ongoing therapeutic support and skill-building in a collaborative, peer-driven environment. These groups are designed for individuals who have completed higher levels of care such as PHP or IOP, or for those managing ongoing mental health and substance use recovery who benefit from regular connection and accountability. Groups are led by licensed clinicians and cover a wide range of topics — from relapse prevention and anger management to grief, trauma processing, and life skills development. OP groups offer a safe space where clients can share experiences, practice new coping strategies, and build a supportive recovery community. We offer both open enrollment and closed cohort groups depending on clinical focus and client needs.
- 1–2 sessions per week, 1–1.5 hours per session
- Topic-focused groups: anger management, grief/loss, relapse prevention, life skills
- Process groups for interpersonal growth and emotional regulation
- Psychoeducation on mental health conditions and coping strategies
- Supportive community environment to reduce isolation
- Integration with individual therapy and case management
- Open and closed group formats based on clinical needs
- Ongoing assessment and treatment plan updates
TBS, CPST & Day Treatment
Community-based and intensive day services to support recovery and daily functioning.
Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS) provide intensive, one-on-one behavioral health interventions delivered directly in the client's natural environment — whether that is the home, school, workplace, or community. TBS is designed for children, adolescents, and adults who are experiencing significant behavioral challenges that interfere with their ability to function in daily life. A qualified behavioral health specialist works closely with the client to develop and implement an individualized behavioral intervention plan, teaching concrete skills for emotional regulation, conflict resolution, social interaction, and problem-solving. TBS is especially effective for individuals who have not responded adequately to office-based therapy alone, or who need real-time support practicing new skills in the settings where challenges actually occur. Services are coordinated with the client's broader treatment team, including therapists, psychiatrists, family members, and school personnel.
- Individualized behavioral intervention plans based on clinical assessment
- Skill-building for emotional regulation, social interaction, and problem-solving
- In-home, school-based, and community-based service delivery
- Collaboration with families, teachers, and other care providers
- Crisis intervention and de-escalation support
- Progress monitoring and regular treatment plan reviews
- Focus on improving daily living skills and reducing behavioral challenges
Community Psychiatric Supportive Treatment (CPST) is a Medicaid-covered service that helps individuals with serious mental illness or substance use disorders develop the skills and access the resources they need to achieve their personal recovery goals. CPST is delivered in the community — in clients' homes, at local agencies, or wherever support is most needed — and focuses on building independence, improving daily functioning, and connecting clients with essential supports such as housing, employment, education, and healthcare. CPST specialists serve as advocates and guides, helping clients navigate complex systems, manage psychiatric symptoms, adhere to medication regimens, and develop crisis prevention plans. This service is particularly valuable for individuals who face barriers to accessing traditional office-based care, including those experiencing homelessness, transportation challenges, or social isolation. CPST is a cornerstone of community-based behavioral health, ensuring that clients receive consistent, person-centered support where they live and work.
- Goal-oriented treatment planning and ongoing support
- Assistance with accessing community resources (housing, employment, education)
- Symptom management and development of coping strategies
- Coordination with psychiatrists, therapists, and primary care providers
- Support for medication adherence and understanding treatment
- Crisis prevention planning and safety strategies
- Advocacy and linkage to benefits, insurance, and social services
- Delivered in homes, community settings, and via telehealth when appropriate
Our Day Treatment program provides a highly structured, full-day therapeutic environment for individuals who require intensive daily clinical support but are able to return home in the evenings. Day Treatment serves as a critical step between inpatient hospitalization and traditional outpatient services, offering a comprehensive schedule of therapeutic activities, group counseling, individual therapy, and skill-building workshops throughout the day. The program is especially beneficial for individuals with chronic mental health conditions, persistent substance use issues, or those who need extended stabilization before transitioning to less intensive care. Clients participate in a wide range of activities designed to improve social functioning, build vocational readiness, develop daily living skills, and strengthen emotional resilience. Our clinical team — including licensed counselors, psychiatric providers, and case managers — collaborates to deliver holistic, individualized care that addresses the whole person. Family members are actively involved in the treatment process to support long-term recovery and successful reintegration into the community.
- 4 days per week, 2.5 hours per day of structured therapeutic activities and group sessions
